Tessa Herd-Court is an experienced executive and board member for start-up, digital companies. Currently, Tessa is the CEO, Founder and Director of IntelligenceBank Pty Ltd, a SaaS information management company that provides Board Portal & Governance, Marketing Management and Knowledge Management solutions.
In 2013, IntelligenceBank was named a Deloitte Asia Fast500 winner and Tessa was named as a finalist in the NAB Women’s Agenda Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
Prior to IntelligenceBank, Tessa was an Executive Team member at Hitwise, an online media measurement firm. At Hitwise, Tessa led Marketing, Research and Sales divisions globally. There, she grew sales 270% year on year, developed product offerings for financial services, digital media and online travel companies and also managed international business expansion and operations in Asia, the US and the UK. In 2008, Hitwise was acquired by Experian for $280M.
Before moving to Australia in 1999, Tessa was based in New York City, where she worked in global advertising, managing new business and multi-national clients for Ogilvy and BBDO advertising. Tessa also worked at Univision, a Spanish Language television network in media research.
Tessa has held board positions for a digital agency start up which successfully exited in 2007 to a larger agency group, and is a current board member of Global Reviews an online research company.
Tessa has a BA with Honours in Political Science and Spanish from Tulane University in New Orleans, and an MA with Honours in Latin American Studies from New York University. Tessa has successfully completed AICD – Finance for Directors, 2011.
