Teresa Zolnierkiewicz co-founded filantropia - rethinking philanthropy, in February 2017.
Teresa’s career has focused on philanthropy advice and the donor experience. An accomplished executive in financial services, between 2001-2016 she was responsible for advising on and distributing over $800 million to charitable causes. She is a social change influencer: co-designing giving strategies with high net worth clients to deliver impact for causes, and to satisfy personal and family aspirations in philanthropy and legacy by articulating family values as a basis for cause selection and effective relationships. Teresa is an experienced speaker, editor and author on philanthropy and giving. Her reputation in the philanthropy industry is underpinned by personal integrity and skills that include - creativity, client focus, and the ability to set vision, build confidence and empower people.
Teresa is Chair of the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF). She holds a Master of Management, Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
