With more than 20 years experience, I consider myself a career banker with a passion for customer led innovation and transforming experiences through a focus on simplicity. Outside of NAB, I’m enjoying serving as a director on the Board of Flourish Australia (supporting mental health and wellbeing) and also the New Payments Platform and I’ve recently joined the advisory board of Heads Over Heels, supporting women entrepreneurs Rachel is General Manager, Westpac Global Transactional Services, overseeing both corporate and institutional transactions. She is also responsible for Westpac's payment networks and corporate cash requirements.

Prior to joining nab, Rachel held a number of roles within Westpac since she joined the company in 1999. Key roles included Head of Group Strategy, General Manager Transformation, General Manager Mergers & Acquisition, Head of International Trade and Payments, Group Head of Diversity and Flexibility and General Manager Business Architecture, Productivity and Process Excellence.

Prior to joining Westpac, Rachel worked as a financial services strategy consultant with Andersen Consulting.

Throughout her career in both consulting and banking, Rachel has focused on creating and executing successful strategies to drive business transformation.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from Macquarie University, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Women's Leadership Program. She serves as a director on the board of Australian Network on Disability and the Global Banking Alliance for Women, and is a former executive committee member of Women in Banking and Finance.
