Michelle is an accomplished senior corporate real estate executive at an ASX50 organisation, with a background in funds management, property and asset management, general management, strategy development and execution including C-suite experience.
She is Fund Manager of $3.8 billion wholesales shopping centre fund at The GPT Group and is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategy, value creation, investment management, financial performance, global capital relationships, statutory reporting, risk and compliance, investor relations and communications.
Michelle has grown Fund from $2.1 billion to $3.8 billion since January 2012 including $1.2 billion of acquisitions and has raised >$1 billion in new equity.
In addition, Michelle is a Non-Executive Director of DNZ Property Fund Limited, a diversified property fund listed on the New Zealand stock exchange.
Her board experience includes Director of GPT Property Management Pty Limited, Alternate Director of Shopping Centre Council of Australia, monthly Senior Executive attendee to The GPT Group RE Limited Board as member of Senior Leadership Team and currently monthly Senior Executive attendee to GPT Funds Management Board including Audit and Risk Management Committee.
Michelle's strengths include investment strategy, investment management, equity raising, capital transactions including acquisitions and divestments, global capital investor relationships and conceptualising and executing strategies to optimise investment performance.
She is active on the executive of several industry associations including: Graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Associate of Australian Property Institute, Women on Boards Australia, Property Council of Australia’s Women & Diversity in Property Committee and Property Council of Australia's Wholesale Fund Managers Forum.
