Katrina Sedgwick is the Director CEO for the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) and a Board member of the Australian Film, Television & Radio School (AFTRS). Prior to these she was Head of Arts for ABC TV and ABC Arts online and the founding Director/CEO of the biennial Adelaide Film Festival, and its Investment Fund.
She has an extensive background as a performer, creative producer and festival director and has a particular interest in developing multi-platform and hybrid broadcast projects.
She is a former Chair of the South Australian Youth Arts Board [2003 – 2008), and Board member of the Australian Children’s Television Foundation, Chunky Move, the Art Gallery of SA and recipient of the Zonta Award for Women in the Arts and the inaugural Weekend Australian Emerging Leader Award – Arts.
