Katherine is the Managing Director of Mahlab Recruitment (Vic) Pty Ltd. In addition to senior level search, she advises clients on mergers, strategic partner recruitment, management and legal department structures and often speaks at industry conferences and seminars. She is also a Board member at Care Super.

Katherine has served on a number of boards and committees in both legal and non-legal spheres. She was a participant in the 2020 Summit, Governance section and until recently was a public member and Deputy Chair of the Australian Press Council.

Other board and committee positions have included executive committee member of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association for almost a decade, board member of Craft Victoria (1995 to 1997), Deputy Chair of the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute Ethics Committee (1991 to 2002) and board member of the Melbourne International Arts Festival (1998 to 2004).
