Kate is currently the the COO of Ramsey Health Care and a Board member of Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation. Prior positions include General Counsel & Company Secretary and then Chief Executive for the Logistics, Construction and Consulting Service lines at Transfield Services (now Broadspectrum) a listed company, then with $3.5bn in revenue and 24,000 employees in 8 countries after partnerships at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Baker & McKenzie.
Kate’s executive career did not start in the usual fashion. Qualifying as a registered nurse and after spent 8 years, completed a law degree, becaming a partner and specialising in Construction and Engineering law.
In 2014, Kate won a prestigious scholarship to attend the Women’s Leadership Forum at Harvard Business School.
With 3 adult stepchildren and a 19 year old daughter, Kate strives to be a role model for women who choose to combine career progression with family.
