Jane is a Director of QIC, BT Superannuation and The Sydney Financial Forum and Chair of Fund Executives Association Limited. Before retiring from full time employment, Jane was Chief Executive Officer at Qantas Superannuation Limited Australia. She is well versed in Australian financial markets corporate governance, having held board positions with National Mutual Superannuation, National Mutual Staff Superannuation Plan and J.P. Morgan Nominees Australia Limited.

Jane has more than 20 years of business management experience in leadership positions across a variety of industries. After starting her career as a teacher, Jane moved to consultative roles within the NSW Department of Education and the Australian Public Service. For a number of years Jane managed her own consulting business before being appointed Associate Director of KPMG Management Consulting in Melbourne.

Jane has also given her time to a number of external philanthropic endeavours, having served as a Trustee of the Victorian Arts Centre and as a member of The Salvation Army Advisory Board and the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra Board.

In November 2010, Jane was inducted into the YWCA’s Academy of Women Leaders at a ceremony in New York. Each year, the Academy selects women who have excelled in their field while achieving results in working toward the YWCA’s mission of empowering women for success and leadership.

Jane was educated at Macquarie University, Sydney, and holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, as well as a Diploma of Education.
