Claire is the executive director of Women on Boards, which she co-founded in Australia in 2006 and in the UK in 2012. Her early career was in journalism and public relations.
A highly respected speaker on diversity and related business issues, Claire is a strong advocate for gender targets within organisations to bring a more balanced perspective to discussions and decision making.
In 2012 Claire became a Churchill Fellow for her research into the effect of gender quotas on public listed company boards in Norway and the progress of the public policy debate in the UK and France. She also completed the Sydney Social Leadership Program in 2005.
Claire has experience as a director in the small business and not-for-profit sectors, including eight years on the board of the Foundation for Australian Agricultural Women.
