Christine is currently a non executive director on a number of Australian listed and not for profit entities. Her current directorships include CSL, Transurban, Stockland, Medibank Private and Baker IDI. She is also the Deputy Chair of Care Australia.
Her current roles follow a successful executive career that spanned in excess of 25 years and included experience in both financial and operational entities both domestically and off shore.
With an early career in chartered accounting, followed by 8 years in investment banking, Christine successfully migrated into an operational role that led to her appointment as CEO and Director of the GasNet Australia Group (ASX200) which she led for 5 years until December 2006.
During her leadership she was responsible for GasNet’s transformational change. GasNet evolved from a state owned entity to a leading gas utility.
From July 2007 until September 2012, she was Co-Head of Unlisted Infrastructure Investments at Colonial First State Global Asset Management and a member of the Executive Committee for the Global Asset Management business.
In the Colonial role, she had overall responsibility for the global unlisted infrastructure business (fund raising, asset identification, selection and acquisition) and direct responsibility for the management of assets that were acquired by Colonial First State Funds, or on behalf of clients.
