Christine McLoughlin is a Chairman and Director with extensive experience with businesses operating in dynamic and regulated industries, including mining, financial services, telecommunications, health, nuclear science and education.
Christine has interests in a range of disciplines and sectors in the business, government and Not for Profit domains and considers that leveraging knowledge and opportunities across these sectors is critical.
Christine currently serves as a Chairman of Suncorp Group, Venues NSW and Minerva Network, Director of nib Holdings and the McGrath Foundation, as well as being a member of the Director Advisory Panel for the corporate regulator, ASIC. She previously held non-executive roles at Whitehaven Coal Ltd, Westpac's Life, General and Mortgage Lenders Insurance businesses in Australia & New Zealand, Spark Infrastructure, and has held roles at The Smith Family and The St. James Ethics Centre.
Christine was formerly a Director of the Transport Accident Commission of Victoria and the AMP Foundation. Prior to becoming a Non Executive Director she worked on the Chief Executive's team in iconic Australian companies including AMP, IAG, and Optus.
After graduating from the Australian National University Christine's early career was in commercial law in Sydney and London. Her executive experience spanned Australia, the UK and Asia.
