Catherine Robson has more than 20 years of experience in banking, finance, wealth management and growth stage businesses. Catherine is currently a Non-Executive Director of Equity Trustees (ASX:EQT) and customer owned Greater Bank and is the chair of the Risk Committee for both organisations. She joined the board of Lumos Diagnostics (ASX:LDX) prior to the company’s successful ASX listing in 2021 and serves as the chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Catherine is an accomplished entrepreneur having achieved the successful trade sale of the financial services business she founded, Affinity Private, in 2017. Catherine is an active early-stage investor and passionate supporter of female founders. Catherine is the chair of Scale Investors, which invests seed capital in exceptional women led start-ups, and chairs Scale portfolio company, education technology innovator TalkiPlay.

Catherine is a member of the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research Advocacy & Support Committee and Cancer Council Victoria’s Investment Committee in addition to being a member of the Korowa Anglican Girls’ School Council.

Catherine holds a Master of Laws, majoring in Tax, from Melbourne University as well as a Bachelor of Laws and BA in Asian Studies from The Australian National University. She has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course and the Wade Institute’s Venture Capital Catalyst Course.

Catherine has a passion for financial literacy and economic empowerment for women. She has experience as an expert presenter and columnist for VicSuper's Super Women Money program, a fortnightly Money Brain columnist in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald and host of a weekly women's leadership podcast, Success Stories.
