Annalisa Haskell GAICD has had an extensive Strategic Sales and Marketing career within a range of industries. Starting with world-renowned consumer goods companies such as Cadbury Schweppes in product and group product management positions, she then ventured quickly into the expanding services sector starting with ASB Bank Ltd in NZ a leading bank of its time. This was before moving to telecommunications in the mid 1990s whereby she stayed within that sector for 8 years and she established a new Division for Cable and Wireless in London.
Upon returning to this side of the world, Annalisa worked within Optus Communications in the newly deregulated market, building the Small Business Market as Marketing Manager Small Business Division. She then moved to a variety of roles leading Sales and Marketing teams within services sectors such as credit cards (Marketing Director for American Express), insurance (IAG) and also in utilities with iconic Australian brands such as St George Bank and Energy Australia.
In more recent times she has brought her extensive commercial skills into the Australian Not for Profit sector as General Manager for Australian Institute of Management before being appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Local Government Professionals Australia, NSW from 2009-2019.
She is currently a Director of the Charity Building Angels and was also for a period of eight years, a Non Executive Director of YMCA Sydney (Vice President 2015 - 2017) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is a member of Women on Boards and is also registered with Department of Premier and Cabinet NSW Government Boards and Committees. She has a Bachelors of Arts degree and Post Graduate Diploma of Business and is Graduate of AICD.
Her passion is leading with high integrity and building strong businesses and communities of interest by ensuring that there is complete alignment between customers or members needs and corporate goals, to deliver returns for all stakeholders - be they financial, community or both.
