Harnessing the power of the market to help improve the environment has guided Anna's entire career. As the inaugural Executive Director, Anna has shaped ClimateWorks approach in analysing emissions reduction opportunities and partnering with business and government in unblocking barriers to their implementation.Previously Anna has worked as a lawyer, investment banker and government policy adviser.
Anna is also director of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, a trustee of the Sustainable Melbourne Fund, a member of the Australian Government’s Energy White Paper Reference Panel and the Grattan Institute’s Energy Program Reference Panel. She is a former director of the Carbon Market Institute and of the Linking Melbourne Authority. She was a member of the Australian Government’s Land Sector Carbon and Biodiversity Board and NGO Roundtable on Climate Change.
She also served on the board of The Big Issue and the board of Amnesty International Australia for six years in roles including National Treasurer and Victorian President.
